Hees! 14 Nov 2004 - ben xiao jie de shen re!
It was a great day! One of the best birthdays i had... more memorable than my sweet sixteen... hees... went to church like a normal sunday... after service, we were supposed to have cell bible study... but instead, it was cancelled and we went to meridian to have lunch, i ate chiangmai laksa, which is sth like curry with crispy noodle, and i ate yami yougurt too! had a good lunch... Hees, and my mum was so sweet... she went to get a cake for me... she bought mango cake.... the gals sang birthday song for me, and i had a good time! Hees, thanks to all of you who were there.... THANKS eve (the songs are those i like- thanks), lorraine (the shirt is really sweet, i love it! n it must have been very time consuming, Thanks!), elaine (thanks for the liitle note), cindy (the funny face is so you! hees, love ya postcard), and everyone else for your well wishes... Thank you Mum too for the cake and chocs...
Hees, went home to pack my bag... reached coasta sands quite late... the cab driver almost brought me to the pasir ris one... lucky he turned back in time... thank god for sending a nice cab driver... he restarted the fare meter... hees, reached the chalet to find so many people that i havent seen in ages... pple like yee yuan, shi ying, xinyi, koon ting, evan, stanley etc... nice to see ya pple again! hees, they were trying to start the fire again, after it died down... and then was unsuccessful... Brave stanley went over to the neighbour and asked if we coud borrow their pit... the neighbours were so nice, we used 2 of their pits... then managed to finally get some bbqing done... hees, borrowed fire starters whilst sending pple out to get some more... finally our own pit was ready for bbqing... poor stanley, was suaned for eating the food halfway - a stick of satay was like half missing, so he kenna suaned that he too hungry then bite off half to eat... after that, everytime we finish bbqing some thing, then we purposely cut into half and give him, then say he bite half one.. then must eat... it was damn funny... collected 'orders' from evan, koon ting, n stanley... hot dogs, sotong balls, n toasted marshmallows... evan is so cute... he does not like them toasted... hees... had a quite successful bqq... although we had so many leftovers...
And so touching... fu wen, aaron n nai lin came over too! jem all of a sudden say wanna tell me sth, then take me away from the chalet... yuan lai si plan hao le, pian wo! hees, but anyway... when we returned, then mommy called me to dunno do wad... then they opened the back door, then i saw many candles arranged to form my name... i was so surprised! then even more so when i saw fu wen n aaron n nai lin come out with a cake... so so speechless! hees... then blew out the candles both on the ground n cake... took photos... and fuwen on behalf of the many many peeps n aaron gave me present-... all so sweet n nice! i love the angel bear... so cute... hees... thanks to all who contributed to the present... i love it! i'll wear the necklace n reply faster next time... so lame la... fu wen say must like prize presentation like that pose for photo when shaking hands... so typical of him lor! and thanks mommy, jem, boon kiat, jiale n the above three for the wonderful surprise! thanks tommy for the necklace too n i dun have a cross pendant so yeah its just perfect!
went to the beach to stone... and we got ourselves all soaked... walked along the beach n talked abt stuff with jem... learned how to create the ripple effect thing, ended up kicking water at each other... jiale n mommy n me tried to push or pull jem into the water but to no avail la... only made ourselves wetter... had a good time la... returned back with tommy first as he was not feelin well, tuck him into bed n boiled water... the stupid kettle made so much noise n woke evan up... felt so bad... then after awhile the rest came back to bathe and we were freezing cold in the room... mommy made sure all of us were in bed before going to sleep... by the time we went to bed... it was like four or five i think... the gates were locked, so shi ying, xinyi, yee yuan, lisa, n jie min spent the night out... kar liang n jun peng had to bring out 2 containers of water so that the gals cld wash their legs... mommy got woken up n created a din... had to calm her back n coax her to sleep again...we woke up n changed sleeping arrangement managed to pack jiale in with us into the bed... hees... slept quite abit : )
Monday
woke up n lazed ard until late morning... most of them were playing snap, heart attack, indian poker, bluff... the noise woke us up... hees... then it was super funny as pple had to do forfeit... and then someone went to disturb mommy, and mommy made noise again... it was really funny la... left the room finally and went cycling... me n xinyi did not know how to cycle... so wanted to take double bike... but the kiosk ran out of it... so no choice had to learn... xinyi managed to get the hang of it after the guy at the kisok helped her.. haiz... but me, being the ever slow learner took such a long time... Poor evan had to spend time guiding me... he was really patient, so THANKS EVAN! we went up and down the stretch of path... and i kept on falling towards my left... finally i could balance myself even after evan stopped holding my bike... so happy... then he had to jog beside me, because i was afraid of falling and i kept making funny sounds... hees.. but in the end, i mastered the skill of cycling! thanks shi fu... remember our next deal- roller blading... hees... another torture for ya... we cycled together till dunno where... like such a great accomplishment for me... with such help from the rest who cleared the path for me so i cld cycle in peace (without crashing)... hees.. oh... met jovin, nigel, daniel, andrew, jere, avriel n some others at seven eleven... hees... they already finished biking... hees... then returned our bikes... i did not fall! so happy... yay... i can cycle on my own le!
returned back to chalet... ate a mantou before falling asleep... yeah, i know i'm a pig... hees... had stomachache, so hope that it wld go away when i wake up... the others were playing cards again while others playing mahjong outside... ended up sleeping till dinner time... evan n tommy were starting fire, and it was successful... hees... everyting was goin on well till it rained... luckily not much damage, and we continued bbqing at the neighbouring unit's porch... too much food in the end... threw away much of the stuff... went to the beach again n stoned... fell asleep halfway... went back n slept till the next day... hees... whilst mommy, jem, bk, jiale stoned at the beach, went swimming... and they did not sleep la... came back at ard eight... bathed n cleared some stuff before jem, bk n mommy fell asleep after that, whilst the rest of us helped to pack up n clear stuff.... checked out at 10 n made our way home...the 'dog' kept on barking on the train... made jem carry it... hees.. in the end i switched it off, so that jem cld sleep... everyone slept on the mrt... finally reached sembawang... home sweet home... hees... THANKS TO MOMMY, JEM, BOON KIAT & JIALE! and yeah, cheers to all who made the gathering a success! cheers to nps- 6AA 1999!
